We sent our culinary spy kids to infiltrate the Fruit Riot! factory. This is the totally official recipe.

🍬Fruit Riot! Recipe Dupe🍍

Fresh Fruit (3-4 cups):
- Grapes 🍇
- Pineapple 🍍
- Or any of your favorite fresh fruits! 🥭🍓

Liquid Coating:
- 1/4 cup refined coconut oil (melted) 🥥
- 3 teaspoons lemon juice 🍋

Dry Toss:
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch 🌽
- 2-3 teaspoons citric acid (to taste - how sour do you like it? 😉)

- 1 cup monk fruit sweetener for best results (or sugar, if you prefer) 🍬

- Flavored drink pouches of your choice 🥤

 Instructions 🍽️

Prep time: 5 minutes ⏱️
Mixing time: 10 minutes 🍴
Freeze time: 3-12 hours ❄️

1. Mix dry ingredients thoroughly in a bowl. 🥣

2. Melt coconut oil in the microwave for 45-60 seconds until fully melted. 🔥

3. Mix coconut oil and lemon juice together in a second bowl (keep liquid and dry ingredients separate for now). 🥥🍋

4. Quickly add fruit to the liquid mixture (everything must be done before the coconut oil hardens). 🍇🍍

5. Toss fruit coated in the coconut oil and lemon mixture into the dry mixture. 🍋🍬

6. Shake and toss fruit in the dry mixture until evenly coated and hardened into a light candy shell. 🍬✨

7. Optional: Add about 1/2 - 3/4 of a flavored drink pouch to the dry mixture to give the coating a fun flavor and color. 🌈🥤

8. Optional: Use fresh pineapple to soak up any extra
dry mixture remaining in the bowl and freeze it separately. 🍍

9. Optional: Enjoy immediately if you prefer softer bites. The coconut oil coating creates a candy shell, so freezing is not necessary! 🍬😋

10. Arrange fruit on a baking sheet with parchment, in
a freezer container, or a freezer bag. 🥡

11. Freeze fruit for a few hours or overnight, until
fully frozen. ❄️

Enjoy your delightful, crunchy, and fruity frozen
treats! 🍭❄️🍓
