“This piece was made in early 2020. This is how I described the work when it was featured in the World of Tomorrow exhibition by the Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco: ‘The impact of COVID-19 on the World of Tomorrow will be vast! Will it be absorbed into the culture of the future as strongly as it has consumed the World of Today? This painting imagines a satirical, future theme park centered on the Coronavirus!’ My feelings and thoughts behind this work have changed deeply over the past year and a half since this work was made.”

The first digital version of Coronaland I was featured in the Walt Disney Family Museum's exhibition: World of Tomorrow in 2020. This version III was finished in 2022 for the A-List Now! exhibition at Southspace.
